Assembling any semi-automatic rifle, including a short-barreled rifle, from imported parts is subject to 18 U.S.C. § 922(r) compliance. The FN SCAR 15P is imported and contains imported parts. In its factory configuration, the only non-foreign FN SCAR 15P parts are the magazine body, follower and floorplate.
